Who are Friends and Young Friends of the Library? You are!

Hunter Library Friends are a group of citizens in the community who have a common concern for their library’s active expansion and participation in community life. They have a conviction that good library service is important to everyone. It’s Membership time! Stop into the library and join the friends!

Hunter Library Awarded Children’s Books Grant

The Hunter Public Library has been awarded a Libri Foundation Grant for $1400 of new, hardcover children’s books, including math and science books. The selection of 75 highly recommended fiction and nonfiction books has arrived! Congratulations to the Library Director, Mrs. June Bain and the Friends and Young Friends of the Library who raised the match for the grant with their Valentine, Rug Braiding, and Bookie and Cookie Sale events.
