About the Library:

The Hunter Public Library was founded in 1896 and has the special feature of two large show windows made available to local artists for shows.

Mission Statement

The Hunter Public Library provides free access to materials and services that promote independent learning, literacy, and the cultural enrichment of each and every member of the Mountaintop Community.

The Board of Trustees meets monthly (2nd Wednesday) at 1:30. Meetings are open to the public.
